Art & Craft
Mark Laricchia's early interest in photography, began as a young child watching his father take family photos. It wasn't long before the camera ended up in Mark's hands.
As a teenager Mark spent many hours developing his craft, which started in his home built darkroom. He loved to watch the magic of his images develop before his eyes.
Completing a degree in photography at RMIT, with further studies in graphic design and multimedia, helped to advance Mark's skills to a new level.
As professional photographer, Mark's work moves from traditional landscapes to urban Melbourne settings.
He seeks to explore the meaning of landscape through a traditional modern urban context. The resulting images take the viewer on an experience that blurs the line between photo and painting.
Mark loves the opportunity the market gives him to share his life of photography with all those who visit his stall.
