A dedicated market trader and talented artisan, David is the creator behind Kuntur Macrame, a collection of beautifully handcrafted jewellery inspired by traditional South American techniques.

Originally from Quito, Ecuador, David's creative journey has taken him around the world. During his travels through Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Russia and Germany, he refined his skills and developed a passion for the ancient art of macramé. Along the way, he shared markets and creative spaces with makers from diverse cultures, helping shape the unique style found in his work today.

Using Brazilian waxed string and traditional knotting techniques developed throughout the Andean regions of Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia, David handcrafts an extensive range of jewellery including necklaces, bracelets, pendants and earrings. Each piece is carefully made by hand, combining intricate craftsmanship with vibrant colours and natural materials.
