City of Port Phillip is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the St Kilda Esplanade Market Reference Committee.
The committee contributes to the effective guidance of the St Kilda Esplanade Market. The market has operated for over 40 years and is a great contributor to the economic development of St Kilda and the small businesses that make up the market.
Meetings are held three to four times per year at the St Kilda Town Hall from 6pm. Committee members are appointed for a period of two years.
All positions on the committee are vacant following the expiry of the previous committee.
EOI are invited for the following positions:
· St Kilda Esplanade Market stallholder representatives who have not been appointed to the previous Advisory Committee and who are not on the St Kilda Arts and Crafts Association Inc management committee (3 positions);
· Port Phillip community members (who are not St Kilda Esplanade Market stallholders) (2 positions);
· People with expertise in markets, arts and craft, marketing or another relevant field (2 positions);
· Representative recommended by the St Kilda Arts and Crafts Association Inc (a stallholder association for the St Kilda Esplanade Market) (1 position).
